Are We on Track? The Goal That Should Define Minnesota's Clean Energy Workforce Strategy
It All Begins Here
Minnesota has set some of the most ambitious clean energy goals in the country — including a 100% carbon-free electricity grid by 2040. But achieving those goals will require a workforce strategy grounded in something more than ambition: clear data, aligned planning, and a realistic understanding of the talent pipeline needed to get there.
In the first installment of Stratasight’s Green Jobs Blog Series, Director of Strategic Initiatives Bryan Lindsley explores the central question shaping our current research: are we actually on track? The article examines the workforce implications of Minnesota’s clean energy goals, the challenges of defining and measuring “green jobs,” and the collaborative work already underway across the state to better align workforce development with the energy transition.
